In the field a dull fixed blade is a liability. I am Engineer Yanchi Li from the Ruimo Tech knife lab, and here is the Sy Tools kit I pack for hunting and bushcraft: T05-AMZ angle guide, the RB diamond rod, and wood-strops / KD-A11 for the finish.

Why a field kit for hunting & bushcraft

A hunting or bushcraft knife sees bone, rope, wood and dirt — it rolls and dulls fast. Sy Tools electroplated diamond works dry or with water, so the kit needs no soak and no slurry. That solves the real field pain: a dull blade in hand while time and water are scarce.

T05-AMZ sets the angle

T05-AMZ locks the blade at a repeatable angle — 15° (fine), 20° (general), 25° (field/durable). For a hunting/fixed blade I run 25° for edge toughness. The guide removes hand-wobble so the bevel stays true through the whole session, even cold and tired.

RB revives, wood-strops/KD-A11 finish

After the plate, the RB diamond rod revives a rolled edge in a few field strokes. Then finish on wood-strops (leather) or KD-A11 (leather strop) to remove the burr and leave a clean apex. That is the minimal «plate → rod → strop» cycle that keeps a fixed blade working all day.
