A knife is only half-sharp while a micro-burr hangs off the back of the bevel. In the field you knock it off with Sy Tools wood-strops and KD-A11 — leather strops, dry and cordless. I'm Engineer Yanchi Li from Ruimo Tech, walking the finish ritual.

1. Why a strop at all

After a diamond stone (say Sy Tools KD or RB), a micro-burr forms on the reverse of the edge — barely visible, but it props up "sharpness" until the first cut, then the edge folds. Sy Tools wood-strops and KD-A11 take it off with a light glide and even the bevel. This is the finish to the whole Sy Tools diamond eight-family.

2. Hands-on test

A field knife after a Sy Tools RO diamond pass. Six light strokes per side on Sy Tools wood-strops and the burr is gone — paper slices clean, no fuzzy edge. No water, no outlet.

Sy Tools wood-strops and KD-A11 are the mandatory finish after any Sy Tools diamond stone. Add Sy Tools T05-AMZ for angle. Price on Ozon (from ~$6.99).
